Health, safety and the environment (HSE)

HSE performance is a key area of focus for our customers. Our improvement initiatives are often implemented in conjunction with customers and many of our principal contracts contain HSE goals as part of performance and reward mechanisms.

Continue to improve the quality of occupational health management by:

Environment
Improve environmental management by:

1. Carrying out environmental assessments
2. Encouraging the development of management systems aligned to ISO 14001
3. Reporting on appropriate Corporate Social Responsibility indicators

Performance
Monitor HSE performance more effectively by:

• Using regional cross company auditing to spread good practice
• Focusing on leading as well as lagging indicators
• Reviewing incidents more thoroughly and sharing lessons learned to improve performance
